The Phoenix Suns are set to have their star players Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal return to the lineup for Tuesday's NBA Cup game against the Los Angeles Lakers at 10 p.m. ET on TNT.
Both Durant and Beal have been sidelined for multiple weeks dealing with calf strain injuries.
Before going down with the injury on Nov. 8, the 36-year-old Durant was off to an MVP-caliber start this season through nine games, averaging 27.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. The Suns are 8-1 with Durant on the floor this season and 1-6 without him.
The 14-time All-Star was bothered by a left calf strain during the Paris Olympics this summer before helping lead the team to a gold medal.
As for Beal, he’s averaging 17.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists in nine games this season.
